It began with a broken hearted college student, the charming new guy in town, a few shooting stars and a beautiful oak tree.

Young, beautiful, honor roll college student Georgia Malone parted ways with her college sweetheart Bobby Pearson promising to call, write and visit as often as possible as she returned for the summer to her small hometown of Thornapple Creek to work at her family’s restaurant.  Expecting a summer of sun with no one to share it with, she dreaded the months to follow, but much to her surprise fate had something else in store.          

When Ryan Richardson came waltzing his way into town Georgia found herself fighting desperately to remain faithful but got caught in a whirlwind love affair, entangled with a web of lies, deceit and betrayal and when Bobby paid an unexpected visit, Georgia became overwhelmed with leading a double life.  Forced to come clean, she finally came face to face with the truth, and as it turned out, the truth was more than ever she had expected.
