Biography

Singer / Songwriter, Danielle Marie Boone was born on July 14, 1983 in Grand Falls-Windsor Newfoundland.

At a very young age, Danielle learned that performing was her first true love.  She began performing whenever the opportunity arose; at weddings and various school and church events; she  even performed as Britney Spears at a camp for underprivileged children!  Danielle was an active member of several musical groups including the school choir which performed at the Kiwanis Music Festival, and a church worship band in her home town which performed at numerous venues on a regular basis.

Danielle studied several years of Piano and in later years taught herself to play Guitar. She began writing songs and dreamed of someday performing those songs in front of an audience.  During her high school year, Danielle took a placement at the local Primary School with her childhood music teacher and helped teach children of her music class.  This was a very special opportunity for Danielle, as she was working beside the woman who instilled in her, the love of music.

After graduating with honors status from her High School, Danielle’s dream of becoming a performer grew stronger as her long hours of work at Tim Horton’s grew longer. After a year in the fast food industry, Danielle applied to the Music Industry & Performance Program at the College of the North Atlantic in Stephenville and was ecstatic to be accepted.

During her studies there, Danielle became the active performer that she had dreamed of. She began performing at numerous college and local events, some of which include performing as an opening act for 2003 ECMA Nominee Barry Canning, being a guest performer at the 2003 & 2004 International Women’s Conferences, performing and being interviewed on CBC Radio and performing at “A Night With The Irish” (a musical production held at the Stephenville Arts & Culture Center).  She continued her studies at the College earning a diploma in Recording Arts in addition to her Music Industry & Performance diploma.

In the future, Danielle is planning to recording a demo CD, in hopes of launching her music career into higher levels.  With faith in her dreams, Danielle believes that just an ordinary girl can do extraordinary things!
